A new study finds obesity makes Covid 19 worse and may lead to deadly blood clots in the lungs. Researchers found obese patients with Covid 19 may have three times the risk of developing a pulmonary embolism.

Twenty-two percent of obese patients with Covid 19 who had cat scans done resulted in pulmonary embolisms.
